Parents Alliance of Ontario, along with more than two-dozen other non-governmental organizations, called on all the families to please once again gather at the Queen’s Park, this time lunched packed, to show the stand against the irresponsible Sex-Ed, on Sunday, June 7.

We need as many as possible participants to show our firm stand and determination in this matter.

The 2015 Sex-Ed curriculum that provincial government released without due-diligent consultation is one-legged, and irresponsible. It advocates “safe sex”, "pleasurable sex", “diversity sex”, and “inclusive sex”, while omits teachings on reproduction, marriage, and family values. It can not solve any sexual issue of children, which were exaggerated. Nevertheless, it will also induce children into temptations of pornography, and mislead them the concept of inclusiveness. We therefore demand the provincial government to suspend the implementation of the sexual health section within the Health and Physical Education Curriculum, until fully incorporating Parents' Concern.

Ever since the government released its irresponsible Sex-Ed curriculum in March, many responsible parents came forward , worked on the platform of of Parents Alliance of Ontario, through which venue parents who used to surrender their educational rights to schools are awakened, citizens who used to leave their social responsibilities in the hands of politicians are awakened, and the Chinese-Canadians who use to think they were merely immigrants or are forgotten are awakened.

All these efforts are noticeably driving forward the development of events:

1. Signatures received through various petitioning campaigns against the irresponsible Sex-Ed is over 80,000 now.
2. Both Peel and York Board of Education have agreed to present parents’ request of having the curriculum modified and the results of various surveys to the provincial government.
3. The newly elected leader of the Ontario Conservative Party Patrick Brown has clearly stated his opposition to the new sex education program.

For a long time, because of our withdrawal and indifference, the morality of the society has kept falling, family values which constitute the foundation of the society being invaded again and again. If we keep ignoring it, the moral restraint mechanism for the social structure will be even more dysfunctional, causing the civilization of the society being at the edge of its grave! For the sake of the well being of our children, we must keep on fighting till the end!

Parents and friends, we are witnessing this historical moments of parents’ awakening to their responsibility for education, witnessing citizen’s awakening to their social responsibilities, and are witnessing the Chinese-Canadian’s awakening to their Canadian identity.

On June 7 at 2:00 pm, let’s bring our family and gather at the Queen's Park, to participate into this historical moment!

Details of the gathering are still in the planning, but please mark your schedule for June 7th. We will keep you informed through our web site, Please also consider becoming a volunteer with us, for we’ll need a lot of them to make this event a huge success.
